We have an incredible opportunity for a Website Performance Manager to join our Digital Marketing team based in Nottingham This is a great chance for a technical wizard with a commercial mindset to build a career within a FTSE 50, market leading organization as key member of our digital marketing team.
Working across the UK and EMEA, you will manage a small team and be responsible for delivering and setting the customer experience across our B2B websites.
The role reports into Paul Sandey - Head of Acquisition who has worked in digital marketing for over a decade across multiple sectors and disciplines, bringing together the best of his agency experience, and as a lead of inhouse marketing teams. He is passionate about marketing having a purpose and being fully accountable for its actions. He champions his team and empowers them to be great at what they do best, and admires UX that turns visitors into customers and marketing that turns customers into advocates.
What is the Website Performance Manager responsible for?
You will manage a portfolio of around 20 websites across the UK and EMEA, working with local marketing managers in each market as well as translation agencies to localize the user experience.
You will challenge the norm and strive to deliver an industry leading experience grounded in insights from analytics and user testing tools.
You will work to our campaign and technical roadmap and will design and build compelling web experiences aimed at lead generation, working with stakeholders across the business to interpret marketing and product requirements to build a competitive view of our product portfolio. You can expect to be responsible for:
- Managing a small team with support from contractors and agencies as required, managing all requests for front end web changes (working with product managers and developers)
- Design and build website pages for products and campaigns
Understand, refine and enhance the website user journey with a constant improvement mindset - Facilitate exploration, scoping and design workshops with stakeholders at all levels
- Define success criteria and KPI goals at different customer journey points
- Research and identify customer pain points and opportunities to improve the customer experience
- Scope and size customer experience improvements, build user stories and technical requirements for website and component development
What are we looking for?
You will champion human centered content and will work closely with your team and various stakeholders to deliver a first class user experience. You'll have an eye for the detail and will be someone who continually strives for improvement.
We're looking for someone with experience with HTML and CSS. Some experience with UX tools and an understanding of SERP and SEO would be ideal.
Whilst we're looking for technical expertise, you must be commercially minded and understand the commercial value of websites with the view to enhance the customer journey whilst increasing commercial performance across multiple regions, ensuring consistency and high standards.
