We are currently seeking an experienced Web Designer to design, build and maintain RoSPA’s suite of web sites and social media channels to support colleagues who use RoSPA’s web presence to promote its mission, policy, products and services.

RoSPA currently has a web presence that includes our main website at www.rospa.com, which receives more than three million unique visits a year, together with 24 satellite sites and numerous web-based applications.
We are currently seeking an experienced Web Designer to design, build and maintain RoSPA’s suite of web sites and social media channels to support colleagues who use RoSPA’s web presence to promote its mission, policy, products and services. In this role you will be responsible for monitoring the content of RoSPA’s websites and social media accounts to ensure that they are accurate, up to date and meet current web contact accessibility requirements. In addition, the Web Designer will be responsible for analysing the performance of RoSPA’s websites using recognised analysis methods and also assisting, advising and training RoSPA staff who have responsibility for authorising web pages.
The successful candidate will have a minimum 3 years’ experience of website design and the creation/maintenance of web pages together with a degree in web design, UX/UI (or an equivalent Computing qualification such as BTEC certificate/diploma in multimedia, web design and development). Applicants must have experience of web authoring and graphic editing software, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the proven ability to work methodically and to deadlines. Experience of using Kentico and/or Umbraco CMS, ASP.NET and scripting languages (e.g. JQuery), Style Sheets (CSS, SCSS) and software packages such as Adobe Creative Suite. You will be expected to present and discuss your web design portfolio during an interview.
