Devon Children's Services currently have two educational settings, Quay View School and Tor View School, and four Childrens Homes across Devon.
Devon Children's Services are looking for Waking Night Support Workers to join their team at our Childrens Home in Okehampton. We are looking for enthusiastic staff to join the team in this new home.
You will be available to work shift patters which include days, evenings and weekends. We are offering both part-time and full-time contracts so salary will vary dependent on your contractual hours.
You may be required to work at one of our other homes and so own transport.
As a Night Support Worker you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our service users. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families and other stakeholders, supporting service users in the planning of goals and in teaching them life skills. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital.

Candidates must have either:
- A Level 3 Diploma in Children or Young People's Workforce or willingness to undertake this qualification within a robust timescale
