The UX Designer is responsible for driving the strategic delivery of user research, user interface design, and user testing to transform abstract business problems into elegant, customer-focused solutions. Throughout conceptual, investigative and approval phases, you will consistently advocate for the customer to ensure our new products and services delight the market. Domestic and foreign travel may be required Key Responsibilities: Facilitate the realization of product visions by researching, sketching, prototyping and user-testing market-winning experiences, optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces. Execute high-quality user research, including moderated interviews, remote usability tests, ethnographic studies, and other appropriate methodologies. Develop concepts in line with technical capabilities, usability standards, and business strategy. Successfully visualize both qualitative and quantitative research outputs with the use of standard UX artefacts (e.g. user journey maps, personas, mental models). Promote best-practice with regards to user experience, providing junior team members with mentorship and learning opportunities. What We’re Looking For: Skills: Expertise in standard UX software (e.g. InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, Balsamiq). Designs must show strong understanding of interaction design, web accessibility standards, and commercial revenue generation. Leadership in the design and execution of end-to-end product design initiatives, including both remote and on-site user research and acceptance testing. Ability to extract detailed UX requirements from both internal and external stakeholders, and translate these into elegant, customer-focused product designs. CSS/HTML coding experience would be advantageous. Knowledge: Knowledge of current and emerging trends in digital product development, and the ability to translate this into actionable and commercially relevant recommendations. Knowledge of design for revenue generation in the B2B and/or B2C environment.
