This role is within the global learning and development team. Working under guidance of learning and development partners, there will be the need to liaise with product managers and other subject matter experts to understand relatively complex financial products. Those insights will then be used to clearly articulate to learning developers the working of those products using example data. As a result of this work, we will develop digital learning content for sales and pre-sales teams as well as innovative client facing digital learning content.
You will be identifying content that meets agreed learning objectives and be able to clearly communicate product information - potentially via the use of storyboards, but the emphasis in this role is on the ability to quickly gain an understanding of products.
Experian financial products are becoming increasingly cloud based and are therefore liable to be updated frequently, so the ability to cope with ongoing change and occasional conflicting demands is essential.
This role is ideal for someone who is in a job that requires the need to clearly understand and articulate relatively complex products. It is therefore likely to suit someone from a user acceptance testing, technical/financial support or technical instructional design background or perhaps someone starting out in product management who wishes to gain a good understanding of products prior to moving into a product manager or other learning and development role.
What you'll need to bring to the party:

•Be competent, focused and outcome driven as well as championing our values at all times.
•Knowledge of financial services and learning and development principles.
•Some knowledge and experience of digital solutions as part of 70:20:10 blended learning.
•An ability to understand and logically explain concepts and functions with an enthusiastic, can-do approach.
•Excellent writing skills and attention to detail and the ability to engage with complex subject matter.
What you'll be doing:
•You will work with a broad range of stakeholders to identify content that meets agreed learning objectives.
•Work closely with product managers to understand products to ensure that the way the product works and the different pathways through it are clearly articulated to learning developers.
•Produce information for learning developers within MS PowerPoint, Word or Articulate Rise.

•Be involved in evaluating the impact of learning interventions on business success.
More about you:
•People-focused, resilient, strong commercial acumen, autonomous and fosters teamwork.
•Good interpersonal and influencing skills and an understanding of other cultures due to the global nature of the role.
•Financial services experience or equivalent knowledge of financial products.
•Strong desire to understand financial products with a strong concern for order and quality.
•A bachelor's degree is preferred.
•Have gained several years' experience in roles that have required demonstration of the above capabilities.
•A good knowledge of learning and development principles and modern digital learning approaches.
•The ability to simplify complex processes/systems/products into easy to understand content.
•Able to demonstrate basic project management skills.
Why this role is critical to us:
•Our business is continuing to evolve quickly with a range of new products becoming available. This has resulted in the need to provide effective digital learning material for our sales and pre-sales teams and increasingly to our clients.
