About the role
We’re looking for a creative, digital influencer to join our team of technological enthusiasts to be based in our Maghull Store. You would be the go to person for our customers who have technical questions, supporting them in opening their eyes to the opportunities technology can offer to enhance their lives in this digital age. Salary for this role is £17540.
This exciting role extends beyond the shop floor though. As a Guru, you would be the one to support and educate the sales team around you in all things new technology, helping them to see the benefit of various devices and solutions to effectively pitch to their purchasing customers. Delivering relevant coaching sessions with your team will form one of the key pillars of your role, supporting the sales team around you to deliver their core KPIs with confidence and an exemplary level of knowledge.
Our local communities are so important to us, and we need our creative digital influencers out there, supporting our customers to understand the benefits of technology and how it can enhance their businesses, community groups, charities and more.
Our Guru team are a dynamic group of individuals who all have personal passions around technology and the creative industries. This allows them to engage and be involved with wider business projects and larger sponsorship initiatives, which is why a passion or interest for a creative skill such as photography, music production, digital artwork is desired.

Desired Skills / Background
A background in retail or service industry or a customer service role.
A passion for the creative industries – photography, videography, music production, digital artwork etc.
A passion for technology.
Ability to identify knowledge gaps and effectively coach / train.
