In this key worker role you don’t necessarily need experience as we provide full training.
We currently have a full-time opportunity in Lydney and a part-time opportunity in Coleford

You’ll join our friendly teams, enabling people with a learning disability to increase their independence; there’s lots of variety. You’ll support individuals in all aspects of daily living; from cooking to managing finances. Supporting people with their personal care and medication needs is also key. As a support worker you’ll also support people to do things in their community; from shopping and going on day trips to sport and visiting day centres. If you’re new to social care, we will support you gain the nationally recognised Care Certificate. If you have experience as a care assistant or care worker in a care home, you’ll discover we provide plenty of on-going training, support to achieve relevant qualifications and career progression. You’ll need good communication skills and a positive, patient approach. Respectful of people’s differences, you can build professional relationships and have a flexible approach. You can work 24/7 shifts including weekends and evenings / nights.
A full driving licence is essential for these roles.

All Support Workers have the option of working additional hours or sleep-ins in a range of services and are paid £50-£70 extra per sleep-in.
Successful applicants for this role will require an enhanced DBS check.
