Due to a company restructure, we are looking to recruit for a Supply Chain Manager.
My client is a very well established, family run business with modern offices in Staplehurst and are a market leader in their field.
The role of the Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing procurement and stock management to ensure customer requirements are met with 100% accuracy.
Other responsibilities include:
- Managing the supplier relationships
- Negotiating prices
- Managing stock levels
- Working closely with the sales team
- Analysing data and producing reports
We are looking for candidates with a solid background in supply chain management/procurement who is able to demonstrate a proven track record of negotiation and stock control. You will need to be very well organised and work well under time and budget constraints.
Other key skills needed include:
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Attention to detail
- Ability to build relationships with suppliers and colleagues
- Good negotiation skills
