Areas of responsibility will be agreed with the management team and current Curriculum Leads on commencement. The successful candidate will facilitate change and innovation and ensure delivery against agreed targets, and have responsibility for line management and support of staff assigned to their area of responsibility. You would also manage internal verification processes and facilitate external awarding bodies’ samples and visits. Curriculum Leads have a teaching commitment on a range of qualifications up to Level 3. The ideal candidate in this instance will have experience delivering Btec level 3 units including Hydraulics/Pneumatics, CAD, Mechanical Principles, Communications and Health and Safety, be qualified to level 4 and hold assessor qualifications. Experience of Btec quality assurance procedures/Lead Internal verifier would be a distinct advantage. You will be a qualified and experienced teacher and will be enthusiastic and fully committed to working with young people. You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
