Base Salary from £40k - £45k + Uncapped Commission OTE £80k+

This company has one of the most attractive Commission Schemes and several members of the team are exceeding target and making well over £100k OTE!
About the Role of Strategic Account Manager
Due to expansion this global business is looking to hire a Strategic Account Manager to join the sales team. You will be responsible for managing and growing an existing base of clients (60%) whilst going after new prospects (40%) targeting a number of major named accounts who have already been identified by the company.
You'll create and close sales across a portfolio of solutions at ‘C’ level including subscriptions for their market research and online intelligence platform into the Financial Service & Insurance sectors globally.
This will involve a mix of Inside Sales and face to face sales where you’ll provide also web based presentations / face to face presentations for your clients.
Using a combination of high activity, passion and strategic time management, the strategic account management team is required to create and maintain robust meeting and sales pipelines, with the key goal of achieving sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis and ensuring year on year sales and revenue growth.

Your skills and experience:
- Minimum of 3 - 4 Years in B 2 B Sales
- Experience of selling Business Intelligence / Business Information, Market Research or Advisory Services or Solution Sales experience selling into Financial Services / Insurance sectors
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
- Experience of working in a fast paced sales environment
- Degree educated
- Well refined, value based new business sales skills and account management expertise across all levels including the ability to map out and develop business within top tier accounts
- Goal orientated and results driven
- European languages advantageous but not essential
