Huntapac Produce Ltd is a fourth generation family-owned business which was established in 1942. Nestled in a small village in the heart of Lancashire, we specialise in growing, packing and distributing a variety of root vegetables, brassicas and salads.
Supplying some of the major supermarkets in the UK as well as independent retailers, wholesalers, food service, caterers and food manufacturing sectors standards are consistently very high and a strong management team ensure these standards are maintained at all times. Within a fast paced farming environment, the Sprayer / Farm Hand reports to the Assistant Farm Manager.

Daily duties to include
⁻ Effectively spray crops in line with the requirements of the business and the Assistant Farm Manager
⁻ Ensure smooth running crop spraying
⁻ Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills
⁻ Maximise the farming efficiencies
⁻ Provide an efficient and effective service
⁻ Conversant with the Health & Safety procedures and fully observe the safety rules.
⁻ Ensure that H & S working practices are adhered to within your farming colleagues
⁻ Ensure that farming methods are always the best most efficient use of, keeping abreast of the new ways of working etc.
Tractor driving experience
Root crop harvesting experience
Any other duties deemed necessary by your Line Manager.
Full training will be provided for any new tasks that may be given / expected.
