By developing our proposition based on the combined capabilities of Jelf, Marsh, Bluefin, and SME Insurance Services, we can build on our position as a leading broker of choice in the community broking marketplace and for small businesses around the UK.” Duncan Carter, CEO of D and P Position Overview As a Graphic Design Specialist within the Marketing practice you will work across the D and P business to provide graphic design expertise to produce a wide range of business collateral, including print (e.g. brochures, direct mail, promotional merchandise, and event collateral), digital (e.g. visuals and documents for the web, social media, and email), plus client tenders and presentations. You will report to the Director of Marketing and will create collateral that is engaging, enticing, and helps to deliver results. This will require you to work with four Marketing Business Partners to understand their requirement and the messages to be delivered so you can provide creative input in to how best to represent that information. You will be responsible for interpreting the requirement to best fit the intended audience, developing the visual concept, and producing the collateral in line with the relevant corporate branding guidelines – which may include own branding, dual branding, or white labelled propositions. Key Responsibilities To support the Director of Marketing in the development and implementation of D and P’s overarching marketing plan. To work with appropriate marketing business partner (MBP): creating, designing, and implementing marketing collateral and campaigns that achieve clearly defined business objectives. This will include print (e.g. brochures, direct mail, promotional merchandise, and event collateral), digital (e.g. visuals and online documents for the web, social media, and email), to achieve targets. To work closely with industry partners to develop co-branded or white-labelled marketing campaigns and literature. Assistance in organising events/exhibitions including the production of branding and any related collateral required pre and post event. To update/develop/create new brochures and promotional literature as required in line with brand and compliance guidelines. Provide design support to the digital marketing managers as appropriate, including production and creation of infographic content and appropriate imagery for web and social media. To provide PowerPoint support to the team – through templates, pitches. Pitch/tender support - preparation and design of response documents as appropriate. Maintain a briefing and traffic management system for design work and projects. Manage the relationship with printers, designers and other external suppliers as required. To help oversee and enforce overall organisation branding in line with guidelines. Manage the team’s access/subscription to imagery – liaising with the wider Marsh team. And to provide advice on imagery selection where needed. Provide assistance to the MBPs in the financial promotions order (FPO) approvals process – to include proof reading and liasing with both the relevant business area and compliance partner to obtain sign off.Qualifications Design qualifications (Degree, Diploma or similar) Proficient in Adobe CC Creative Suite (including InDesign and Photoshop) and Adobe Acrobat X Pro with knowledge of web design. Experience of designing for direct marketing, print, email, and online campaigns Experience of working with well known corporate and/or consumer brands – and interpreting brand guidelines for different audience/programme requirements Ability to think creatively, laterally and be innovative with an eye for detail and creative flair. Excellent organisational and time management skills: ability to multitask & prioritise workload.
