We are looking for a Cleaning Specialist with the desire to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness within our services. Some of your main responsibilities include: · cleaning in accordance with agreed schedules across Orwell’s housing stock including the communal and staff areas, stairways, kitchens, accommodations and stores · undertaking all communal bins, carpet, stairwell and upholstery cleaning tasks · yearly cleaning of all ovens under Orwell’s ownership, creating and managing a rota to do so · responding to occasional emergency call outs for bio hazard cleans and sharps removal · keeping storage facilities replenished, tidy and locked when not in use · pressure washing the pathways and stairwells as required for reduced risk of slips and trips · gutter cleaning using specialist equipment · providing cover for holiday and sickness for the Mobile Cleaner post You will need to have an in-depth knowledge of COSHH requirements and relevant equipment as well as excellent organisation, time management and communication skills. Using a branded company vehicle to cover various sites, a full driving licence is essential. Successful applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
