This role is responsible for driving trade of Smashbox in the UK across the UK brand website and online retail partners and pure play sites and supporting the Online Manager in delivering a cohesive online strategy across both verticals.
You will need to be commercially driven; supporting Online Manager in managing trade plan activities and leveraging every marketing channel to drive traffic, exceed revenue targets and other site’s KPIs for Smashbox.co.uk website.
You will be managing our retailer ecommerce relationships with the support of Online Manager, ensuring each account meets their sales target through innovation, exposure and a strong promotional calendar.

•Supporting Online Manager and Online brand team in delivering the Smashbox Site Sales Plan across Brand’s .co.uk site and retailer.com and pure play
•Help to continue re-forecast based on performance in order to achieve maximum results.
•Act with agility based on analysis of sales, site performance, email campaigns and internal and external marketing programs.
•Conduct weekly sales, mix of business, and site analyses to maintain a pulse on the business and identify trends (brand.co.uk).
•Own the sales performances of retailer.com, compiling weekly and monthly trade reports and share findings with wider teams. Develop risk and opportunities strategies by retailer.
•Work with wider brand and online teams on sampling programmes for recruitment retention initiatives.
•Manage forecasting gift quantities strategy per retailer.com; including online exclusives.
•Own and drive analysis of key business metrics: site traffic, conversion analysis, customer behaviour, engagement metrics across different marketing channels.
•Work with agencies to understand and drive performance of external marketing programs such as Paid Search, Affiliate, Display Email. Attend regular calls and meetings, track goals and update on new opportunities.
•Ensure site is optimised as a landing destination for all marketing channels
•Monitor all email performance in terms of CTR/Open Rate/Conversion. Work closely with the Online Brand Manager on the email strategy and calendar.
•Work closely with the CRM team in understanding online customer purchase behaviour and own the CRM tools for the website database.
•Accountable for Smashbox site refresh process. Work with online team to plan content and activity that supports Global and UK strategy, local promotions, trade plans, seasonal activities and key strategic priorities.
•Oversee all CMS work, ensuring products are set up correctly and merchandised effectively.
•Be responsible for correct set up, execution and testing of all online promotions.
•Work with Global team to ensure all new launch strategies are relevant and optimised for the UK market execution.
•Drive all on site KPI’s (such as Conversion, AOV, IPT, Traffic, Bounce Rate and Revenue) by developing targeted strategies that support growth.
•Work with Global and local production teams to identify, create and execute new on-site technology to constantly evolve and improve user experience and position Smashbox.co.uk as the digital flagship store.
•Perform regular site walks/site reviews and be accountable for day-to-day site maintenance.
•Meet with National Accounts Marketing Teams on a regular basis to develop, maintain and feedback on strategy for key retailers.
•Work with retail partners to obtain analytics on retailer programs as well as overall sales goals/strategies and report on findings to the wider teams.
•Build and nurture relationships with key online retailer contacts ensuring the Smashbox is front of mind in retailer considerations.
•Create a retailer.com activity calendar, lead weekly status calls and monthly planning meetings to ensure alignment and on-time execution of key initiatives to drive towards joint sales targets.
•Work with marketing teams to ensure 360 brand approach to all activations online and in store.
•Support in driving strategy and developing opportunities for new retailer / pure play site launches.
•Escalate issues or enhancements and suggest partner site improvements to retailer.com team and brand partners.
•Monitor retailer.com business to achieve weekly sales targets, tracking individual accounts’ monthly sales goals and securing best initiatives.
•Oversee the creation and execution of all promotional activities and merchandising strategy.
•Partner with retailers to gain detailed insight on on-site retailer.com analytics including click through, traffic, sales ROI
•Lead development of new online content, in collaboration with brand site and marketing teams.
•Conduct daily site-walks for key retail partners, raising issues where necessary.
•Manage the day to day relationship with online retailers and pure plays, liaising on sales performance, stock requirements, site updates and content sign offs.
•Support the Online Manager with investment packages/partnerships/content requirements. Raising POs and supporting with PL administration.
•Contribute and feedback ideas for future opportunities on retailer.com platforms using insights and competitor analysis.
•Coach direct report giving regular feedback on performance as well as ad-hoc training sessions to allow them to develop and progress.
