Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks an Equipment Engineer to join its industry leading sales and service team. You’ll partner with Sales Representatives on executing service plans in strategic district accounts and providing customers with problem solving support. You’ll also assist District Sales Representatives with launching new applications in current customer accounts and in transitioning competitively-held accounts to Nalco Water. This position requires you to install, commission, maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot a range of chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment and service and support Nalco Water equipment to include all our innovations, chlorine dioxide generation and other dosing technologies. What’s in it For You: • You’ll join a growth company offering a competitive pay, corporate benefits package & annual bonus • A company vehicle, mobile phone and laptop • A long term, advancing career path in service, engineering, sales or management • Access to the industry’s most innovative training programs on our equipment range. • A culture that values safety first, including training and personal protection • Pride in working for a company that provides clean water, safe food, abundant energy and healthy environments What You Will Do: • Provide preventative maintenance support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance plans • Assist Sales Representatives with start-ups of new applications in both existing customers and in new accounts across a diverse range of industries • Provide technical support to customers; troubleshooting identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required. • Execute required chemistry tests, log and report data, and maintain product inventories at customer accounts • Install, calibrate and maintain chemical feed equipment and process monitoring equipment at customer accounts Minimum Qualifications: Covering The North West of England, the applicant should be multi-skilled with electrical and mechanical qualifications. A flexible attitude to work is required and an ability to solve problems is essential. Completion and submission of reports and identifying follow up work to ensure resolutions are dealt with in a timely manner. • Certified Electrical or Mechanical qualification/s • Experience of working across both single and 3-phase electrical systems • Possess a valid Driver’s License Desirable skills: • Demonstrated mechanical / electrical aptitude • Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience • Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems OR paper machine operations, pulp mill operations and wet end chemistry. • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite • Excellent communication and team working skills.
