Group Technology is a highly visible & key area of ITV. Group Technology provides the central technology function to ITV which covers Software Engineering, Product Management, Platform Engineering, Workplace Tech, Cyber Security and Agile Delivery amongst other areas. Without a Group Technology function, we wouldn’t be able to deliver the first class content to our consumers across the globe via multiple channels.
Some of the Day-to-Day of the role:
This is a hands on Service Delivery Manager role including responsibility for Service Operations Management across the multi-supplier ecosystem (i.e. Critical Incident / Problem / Change / Continual Service Improvement etc.)
The ideal candidate will have significant experience of leading critical incidents in mission critical environments across the following technology disciplines:
Servers and Storage
Be part of a 24 x 7 on-call rota of Service Delivery Managers
Lead resolution activities for Incidents and Critical (Major) Incidents
Lead Problem Management
Lead Continual Service Improvement
Support the Change Management process
Support the Demand Management process
Chairing relevant governance and approval boards
Lead business engagement for specific business areas and become a trusted partner for the business
Support new supplier selection, and negotiation of contracts / renewals, with focus on defining service expectations and SLAs that maximise service value for ITV.
We are recruiting for a Service Delivery Manager within Group Technology with the following key criteria:
Significant experience of Service Delivery Management in a hands-on customer facing role (3+ years)
Significant experience of Service Operations Management including leading suppliers during the technical triage of Critical Incidents within mission critical environments (2+ years)
In-depth knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes (Incident / Problem / Change etc.) including process creation & improvement
Extensive Supplier and Vendor Management Experience
Significant experience of Stakeholder / Business Relationship Management within the context of Service Delivery Management
