What is the DigitalStrategy and Programme teamresponsible for?
This team drives our digital platforms forFiduciary investors, this involves looking after our client portal which isused by investors, employees and advisors.Within this role we need someone who can lead the team in researching,presenting and implementing appropriate and effective user-centred designsolutions.You’ll help to set the userexperience strategy for both US and International online programmes.
Whatare the ongoing responsibilities of a Senior User Experience Architect?
Leadresearch initiatives including contextual research, competitive and expertreviews, and usability studies; and recommends which research techniques aremost appropriate for projects
Providesmentorship and guidance for UX team members
Servesas Lead Architect on design projects and directs the efforts of UX Architectsassigned to the project
Createseffective Web site and Web application user interfaces and informationarchitectures
Employsdeep knowledge of user-centered design best practices to create effective userinterface solutions
Partnerswith cross-functional teams to achieve their Web-enabled business goals
Effectivelycommunicates design intent to business partners and technical developers byauthoring wireframe documents that detail interaction specifications
What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?
Bachelorsor Masters degreeideally withinHuman Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Communications,Psychology Or equivalent experience
Continuededucation in fields of usability and user-centered design

Highly self-motivatedto learn how emerging web technologies can enhance the user experience whileweaving in design best practices.
Extensive experience creatingWeb-user interfaces and/or browser-based applications
Familiarity with user-centered designprocess and Web usability best practices
Ability to provide thought leadershipin the field of user-centered design and usability
Self-starter with ability tocollaborate with and guide clients as a consultant and to work independentlywith minimal supervision
Excellent verbal communication andproject management skills
Familiarity with user researchtechniques, including surveys, focus groups, paper prototyping, and/or remoteuser testing
Understanding of financial topics andmutual fund industry experience preferred
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Visio
Experience with prototyping tools such as Axure or iRise a plus
Understanding of usability study monitoring tools such as Decible and Google Analyticsa plus
Proven ability to develop insightinto user needs and translate them into effective user interface designs thatmeet business goals.
Experience working on creative teamsand collaborating to deliver creative interactive design
Functional supervision of userinterface design efforts and usability studies by UX Architects
Experience leading project teams
Prior experience of translatingbusiness objectives into effective visual and interaction design
Experience of lead architectresponsibilities on website design projects
