Senior Python Developer / Engineer (Data AI NLP Machine Learning Linux). Are you a technologist seeking complex and challenging systems to work on where you can make a real impact?
You could be joining a well funded technology start-up that is utilising AI and Machine Learning techniques to build a cutting edge API intrusion and security threat detection system that can predict cyber security attacks and raise alerts rather than just reacting to them.

There's a lot of Greenfield development work, as a Senior Python Developer you'll take ownership and provide technical leadership to a small team developing well tested Python production code. You'll be prototyping and designing innovative solutions to security problems and supporting the research / Data Science team; optimising software to minimise latency; transforming software produced by researchers into production ready code and integrating the product with SIEMs and other security systems. You will be given a large amount of control and autonomy to build your own backlog.

You'll join a small, highly talented team of academics and technologists within a collegiate team environment; shared start-up offices based in the City with a range of facilities and the latest kit.

Requirements:
*Strong Python development skills
*Experience with Git for source control
*Good working knowledge of Linux OS
*Advocate of clean sustainable code; experienced with Unit testing, TDD / BDD
*Collaborative and pragmatic, willing and able to provide technical leadership and mentoring
*Degree educated in a relevant discipline: Computer Science, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence; 2.1 or above
*Nice to have: Twisted, PyTorch, CUDA, Pandas, NumPy, Docker, Docker Compose, AWS, MongoDB, microservices architecture
