The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for leading process development and improvement for Wiley’s open access business and subject/portfolio development. Actively engages with publishing and operational teams across Wiley to deliver process improvement resulting in increased open access revenues, coordinates the successful implementation of new models, develops and improves reporting, and translates policy developments into workflow requirements. Proactively seeks opportunities to review and improve all operational processes that drive open access revenues or subject and portfolio growth. Key responsibilities: Provides leadership and coordination across all stakeholders to develop, plan and deliver new/improved workflows and services. Understands and interprets strategic, market and policy issues, and manages the implications for workflow and service changes Develops requirements for reporting and monitoring all non-financial metrics related to open access and subject development.
