About the team
Our ability to continually provide a world class service for our clients is of paramount importance, and a key differentiator for Experian in the market place. We are looking for people with a keen operational mindset, who are passionate about service, and step forward when the need arises to solve for service issues.
Experian leverages leading-edge technologies to support our clients, and as such, we also provide a unique opportunity to grow your strengths in a variety of the very best tools used to support our core infrastructure and client-facing applications - both within our own data centres and cloud-based services.
Equally, we use technologies such as ServiceNow, Splunk and Dynatrace to provide insight, manage and monitor the environment. You will directly use these tools, and be expected to seek new and proactive ways to leverage them to their full strength to automate, orchestrate, and continually improve our services.
What is the Senior Operations Analyst responsible for?
Reporting into the Operations Shift Leader, this is a First-line operational support role. You'll be responsible for resolving a broad range of IT issues and will be able to converse over technical disciplines including infrastructure and applications. You'll be bright, ambitious and put the customer at the heart of everything you do.
The role will provide a great opportunity to learn a breadth of technical disciplines and work with people from across all levels in the UK and EMEA organisation. Equally, it will provide a great foundation to further your career through a technical or managerial track at Experian.
You don't need to be an expert in any one specialism, but it'd be great if you have some experience in a Service Desk, Operations or similar role and any technical qualifications are a bonus. You'll need to have enough technical expertise to understand and relate to the problem and use resources such as knowledge articles to resolve the issue, and will have the ability to make a sound judgement call on escalating issues that require additional support. The ability to deal with a multitude of demands is essential, along with the ability to converse on all types of technology and applications, irrespective if you do not personally possess deep subject matter expertise for the service demands.
You may be someone currently in a technical specialist or generalist role looking to broaden your experience and progress within a market leading, truly global organization. This is also a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about a particular field to step into a broader role to progress in the longer term, e.g in networking.
