Senior Mechanical Project Engineer Location: London Job Type: Full Time Contract Type: Permanent As a result of our recent success, we have multiple opportunities for Senior Mechanical Engineers to join our team in London. SES Engineering Services (SES) is recognised as one of the leading M&E partners in the UK, delivering Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) design, installation of building services and infrastructure solutions. Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will be required to have overall responsibility for the Building Services elements of a £25m hospital development ensuring that we meet programme, cost, and safety and quality objectives. Key Accountabilities will include: Deliver a quality installation, in line with our client’s expectations, maximise the profitability by smart design and early selection driving our cost whilst maintaining our standards. Work with the planner ensuring that we have a clear sequence of works with defined durations and resource loaded that is agreed with our client. Design Management defined by our integrated project delivery strategy. Producing detailed design in line with specific project requirements. Work with the BIM department, producing fully coordinated installation drawings to a standard to allow clear direction for site installation or production of offsite manufacturing. Informative procurement of subcontractors and suppliers. We are looking for qualified Mechanical Engineers who will drive the design, co-ordination, delivery and handover of all projects, and who will thrive on a ‘right first time’ approach. To be successful in this role you will be a team player who is able to effectively communicate at all levels as well as be able to challenge the ‘norm’ and bring added value to the project’s design.
