Senior Hardware Engineer Location: Kings Hill Salary: £58,000 We are always looking for exceptional talent to join our inspiring multinational family and right now we are seeking to recruit a Senior Hardware Engineer to join our team. The Senior Hardware Engineer will contribute to and/or lead the design and development of hardware for a range of electronic equipment that requires embedded control solutions. The founding team of multi-disciplinary experienced and professional engineers will help Megger achieve increased and quality NPD throughput from the teams’ inception. The key responsibilities Lead and manage hardware design and work with firmware and mechanical engineering disciplines in new projects Supervise and carry out electronic circuit board design; this includes simulation and rigorous laboratory testing Prepare and present designs to other members of the design team and project stakeholders at design reviews or project meetings (appropriate to role) Supervise and/or carry out PCB layout using appropriate software tools and compile BOMs for best fit for design requirements re. function, cost and noting implications for and around obsolescence Ensure own and team members’ documentation of designs using ECAD schematic capture software.
