We are looking for a Senior Data Analysttojoin our collaborative team within the Advertising Data area.
What this role will entail…
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Data Analyst / Senior Data Analyst to join our Advanced Advertising Data & Analytics function. We have ambitions to lead the market in data-powered, video advertising products that deliver compelling and effective solutions to advertisers and their media agencies. We are looking for talented individuals who are well-versed in big data techniques and have a strong interest in media, to join the team.
Some Key Responsibilities:
Source, analyse and publish a range of business information metrics – web analytics, revenue, advertising, customer data – to provide sophisticated analytics and insight for the business
Create and maintain automated insights dashboards for commercial and operations teams, highlighting media opportunities, product performance and campaign optimisation
Support the design of advertising effectiveness metrics and reporting, to prove the value of our ad and data products to advertisers
Help shape, test and optimise data products for high quality ad targeting
Report on web, app and player activity and generate insights on customer behaviour by analysing traffic, navigation and video viewing
Provide insight into user behaviour using advanced techniques including segmentation, lifetime value, customer profiling, and multivariate testing
Interpret analysis and communicate results and recommendations to colleagues at all levels within the business. Proactively suggest analysis to add value to the business wherever possible
To ensure that business information data is readily available and of the highest quality to enable management decision making
Work with data science, commercial, and operational teams, as well as external suppliers
You will give appropriate input and practical advice to specific business areas and promote “Data Protection by design”, as well as an environment of trust and confidentiality. Through the course of this you will identify risks and manage them through the agreed framework.
The ideal candidate:
Previous experience in a similar role, working with multiple data sources and large data sets
Experience with working with statistical test techniques
Some knowledge of SQL, BigQuery, and other tools to analyse large amounts of data
Working knowledge of data visualisation tools, ideally Tableau experience
Strong communicator able to present complex analysis clearly to clients and stakeholders
Nice to haves:
Programming skills in Python or R
Exposure to agile product development
Interest in digital media and familiar with advertising technologies and platforms
