Our client is looking for a part-time Secretary (10-12 hours per week, Monday to Friday, days/hours are flexible and can be discussed).
Our client is an established Trust and Social Club that takes pride in providing exceptional service to the local community and members in and around the Wimbledon area. They are seeking a Secretary to support the Trust and Club activities with various administrative duties.
Attending various committee meetings for the Trust and Club and taking minutes (evenings)•
Record keeping and correspondence including financial and membership records•
Managing of the membership database including new memberships and renewals•
Working with the Club Manager with general finance and cash book responsibilities•
Liaising with the Club Manager to ensure all electrical equipment is regularly and properly checked in line with relevant guidelines•
Maintaining stock materials and supporting the Club Manager to monitor bar pricing
•Liaising with the Treasurer with the calculation and payment of employee wages
This role would suit someone who has worked in a similar role and is seeking a new challenge.
Essential skills required:
Previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous•
Excellent communication and organisation skills•
First rate customer service skills•
Good IT skills, specifically Microsoft Office and Excel•
The ability to multi-task and work under pressure•
Positive and enthusiastic attitude to work
