Our client is a leading family run company who have been providing pressure care solutions since 1996
They are currently seeking to employ sales reps to cover the Southern region.
Reporting to the Director, the Regional Sales Representative will manage existing customer accounts and source new sales opportunities, closing sales to achieve targets. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing revenue & operating profits by: managing and negotiating with customers, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services.
The Regional Sales Representative will possess: relevant technical skills, the ability to plan and prioritise, excellent communication and inter-personal skills and sound decision-making abilities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
•To effectively develop and close sales opportunities using appropriate sales methods (cold calling, face-face meetings, group presentations etc.).
•To forecast sales and contribute to group business planning activities.
•To assess customer needs & requirements and effectively communicate those on a technical & commercial basis within the organisation.
•To build and sustain productive, long-lasting business relationships with customers.
•To meet personal and group sales targets.
•To identify and research potential accounts and to generate and follow-through on sales leads resulting from those accounts.
•To attend meetings, sales events and training sessions to keep abreast of relevant market developments.
•To maintain and expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
Skills and Abilities required
•Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain and grow productive customer relationships.
•Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills to communicate effectively with a customer base spread across the country. Specifically, this is to include excellent written and verbal communication in English.
•Highly self-motivated – able to operate and achieve sales targets with minimal supervision.
Full UK Drivers license is essential. Work vehicle provided.
•Working hours: Normally 9 – 5 & out of hours 10 – 4
