Sales and Marketing Manager
Our client is a business and leisure resort with a racecourse, hotel, spa and golf course on site.
We are currently looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager who will report to the Commercial Director.
The Sales and Marketing Manager will assist in undertaking all business marketing activities to ensure that sales turnover targets are met or exceeded through targeting both the corporate and consumer markets.
This will be done through: developing, managing and implementing a marketing strategy that is designed to help achieve the overall business plan; introducing, implementing and evaluating innovative marketing and promotional activities designed to increase Hotel revenue lines; working closely with the general manager to ensure new initiatives and campaigns are clearly briefed and executed across the operational teams; growing social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification; collaborating with other departments (Hotel, Spa, Golf, C&B teams etc) to manage content, identify key players and coordinate actions; and representing the company at external events including, but not limited to, exhibitions, networking events, wedding fairs, public events and trade shows.
The successful Sales and Marketing Manager will have proven experience in a similar sales and marketing position, as well as targeting consumer and corporate customers. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a strategic approach are all essential skills for the Sales and Marketing Manager.
