Our client are a youth engagement agency that exists to help brands, charities and government organisations connect with the dynamic world of under 25s. They help clients maximise the impact of all their engagement with young people with core expertise in creating Education, Brand, Talent and Social impacts.
They are looking for a confident and experienced Sales Manager to use their sales experience to identify, contact and engage new clients to secure new business opportunities for the agency. This person will also work to secure introductions and credentials meetings, Request for Proposals (RFPs) and tender opportunities.
The role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Secure meetings with potential clients to present credentials and uncover new opportunities.
•Support wider marketing initiatives and proactively identify and establish communication with new leads.
•Sell the agency's services to potential clients - develop compelling propositions to attract new clients.
•Build and maintain a healthy new business pipeline.
•Nurture prospect relationships via email, phone, events and content etc.
•Generate new leads through cold -calling and email.
•Keep abreast of market developments and identify new areas of growth.
•Streamline the CRM system.
•Builds a business development mentality across the agency.
•Provide accurate reporting and commercial forecasts.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The role will suit an individual with the following skills, experience and qualities:
•An experienced sales professional with a proven track record in sales, business development and creation of new business opportunities.
•Strong understanding of the sales lifecycle.
•Experience working with HubSpot or similar CRM.
•Excellent influencing and powerful communication skills.
•Proven ability to foster relationships with key decision makers.
•Previous success in meeting sales targets.
•Creative problem solver and proactive about identifying areas of improvements or change.
•Ability to articulate complex ideas in a simple and engaging way.
