Chadwell Heath is the Head Office for the Nicholls and Clarke Group of Companies and at this site we employ over 150 people in a diverse number of roles.
We are currently recruiting for a Customer services / Sales assistant to join our busy team based in Chadwell Heath. Working with the team your duties will include answering incoming sales calls, dealing with customer requests, placing, tracking, and progressing customer orders. You will work closely with our friendly team as well as liaising with suppliers and other departments to ensure our customers’ requirements are met.
The successful candidate would ideally have sales office experience and or have a back ground in a customer focused environment dealing with customers on a daily basis. You will be required to handle several quotes and orders at the same time so you will need to be an organised individual who is able to manage your time accordingly. A basic knowledge of sanitary ware products (Bath’s, Basins, WC’s) would be an advantage however product training and ongoing support will be provided.
You will be required to -
- Answer telephone calls
- Prepare detailed quotes
- Process orders
- Build strong customer relationships
- Manage workload to meet deadlines
The ideal candidate will have the following skills -
- Microsoft Outlook & Excel knowledge
- Professional telephone manner
- Cheerful enthusiastic nature
- Be flexible and adaptable
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Positive attitude
- 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)
