As a Sales Advisor in our Sales & Marketing department, you’ll be an integral part of the team – one that doesn’t just sell bricks and mortar, but that helps make our customers’ dream new homes become a reality. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for homebuyers, as well as liaising with solicitors, estate agents and bank and building society managers and valuers.At Bloor Homes, we love watching our people grow and improve. This will include all compliance and developmental training depending on skills and experiences. As a Sales Advisor, you’ll be helping homebuyers every step of the way by taking reservations, initiating paperwork and ensuring purchasers understand the financial and legal aspects of buying a new home. Not only will you be doing this for one of the largest privately-owned house-building groups in the UK, but you’ll also be part of a family-owned business where we value you, your contribution and your ideas.
This varied advisor role includes a wide range of duties, including:
- Building up and maintaining good working relationships
- Ensuring all contract and completion timescales are adhered to
- Conducting showhome viewings and being an expert on the Bloor Homes specification
- Dealing professionally and knowledgeably with all enquiries via phone, email and in-person.
- Effective liaison with the Site Manager to ensure good knowledge of plot construction progress and safe areas for viewings.
You will need experience selling new homes, you’ll have outstanding people/customer service and communication skills, proven sales skills and effective negotiation skills. A full driving license is essential. Experience of sales in the new house building market and knowledge of the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 and the Business Protection from Misleading Marketing Regulations 2008 would be an advantage.
From us, you can expect uncapped commission, with the opportunity for commission to come from three sources; plot commission, quarterly bonus target and upgrades on options and extras. What’s more, you’ll also receive a generous mileage allowance to and from work and private health care.
