Your team and role Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Risk Management, this is a dedicated Risk role with the objective of strengthening the governance relating to risk matters. This involves providing support in the operation of Business, Governance, Conduct and Operational Risk Management (Referred to as Enterprise Risk Management). The role will go beyond focus on compliance with rules, to a holistic approach of how the Bank organises itself and does business in order to ensure good customer outcomes. As a Senior Risk Officer you specifically be working on; Business Area Risk Assessments: Support the re-design / implement process to enable “bottom up” risk identification; Work with the respective Business Areas to undertake the workshop stage of the process and then document the key risks and controls Design the process to analyse data so as to make an informed decision regarding strategic risks Business Partner Model, design and implement model that ensures: Promote Risk Management – regular catch ups with Senior Management team Risk Management training /promotion Support “bottom up” risk identification by working with the wider business to identify, assess, monitor and report on the Enterprise-level risks that exist within the business. Assist with the Pillar 2A scenarios/information: Operational Risk – Scenarios, methodology and calculation Conduct Risk - Scenarios, methodology and calculation. Team Development: Own – identify own development needs and with the Head of ERM source solutions Risk Officers – Assist in the development of the Risk Officers Will you thrive? To be successful in this role, the following skills and experience is required; Professional experience of working in comparable 2nd or 3rd Line Risk Management roles gained within Retail Financial Services You will be able to demonstrate strong balance in how you influence and work with others.
