We’re now looking for a number of Retail Accounts Trainees to undertake our graduate training programme and become established members of our accountancy teams.

We are an Investors in People Gold accredited employer and will provide you with all the support you need to gain your ACCA or CIMA qualification and become a qualified accountant.
Within a people-focused and welcoming environment, you will become one of our behind-the-scenes heroes, crunching numbers and checking figures to support the running of our 177 pubs, inns and hotels across the South West.
As a Retail Accounts Trainee, you’ll perform a range of activities to support St Austell Brewery’s Retail function.
Once you have been trained, you will:
- Process weekly paperwork submitted from our pubs
- Review pub ledgers and ensure all paperwork has been submitted
- Reconcile pub debtors and deposits
- Process journals, including accruals and prepayments
- Assist with office duties
To join us as a Retail Accounts Trainee, you’ll need:
- At a minimum, a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in an accountancy and/or finance related discipline
- The desire to learn
- A fantastic eye for detail
- Strong communication skills
