Job Title: Research and Policy Development Manager
Contract Type: Fixed Term (Approx. 6 months)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience

About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a fixed term appointment in our Quality and Compliance team. This position will be needed for approximately 6 months and is a home based role.
The successful post holder will report to the Group Head of Safeguarding. You will be instrumental in driving improvement across all divisions of the Group. It will also be your responsibility for ensuring that policies and procedures are accessible, clear and compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements and integral to helping our staff perform their roles to the best of their ability.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone that is self-motivated with a strong ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels. You must have an excellent understanding of the external Social Care and Education legislative and policy environment with experience in Safeguarding.
You will be a well-organised manager that uses project management skills to take ownership of our Group’s core safeguarding policies and procedures. The ability to deliver high quality research and intelligence is essential and will ensure compliance is met across the company.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Stakeholder influence and management experience
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience and knowledge of safeguarding legislation and practice.
- Understanding of the external social care and education sector legislative and policy environment
- Production and analysis of reports
