At Prestwick Service Centre we are specialists in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft engine nacelles systems and engine components. As part of our planned continued expansion we require experienced individuals who will contribute to our success, whilst upholding our reputation as a leading provider of quality MRO services with our European and Middle Eastern customers
Purpose of the Role
As a Repair Engineer you will provide a high level of support to our workshop, compile component survey reports, design repair schemes, and liaise with subject matter experts based in our California headquarters. Ideally you will be familiar with aero engine nacelles and / or airframe structures, composite materials, repair design practices and procedures and a have sound understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes.
Principle Duties / Responsibilities

- Ideally you will be familiar with aero engine nacelles and / or airframe structures, composite materials, repair design practices and procedures and a have sound understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes.
Essential Requirements / Skills / Qualifications
- You will be an experienced Engineer with a relevant Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering Qualification; a relevant degree would be advantageous
- Ideally you will have experience within the Aerospace industry and a repair design or MRB background. Consideration will also be given to candidates with experience in structural analysis or aerospace tooling design. You will also be computer literate with experience of MS Office and Computer Aided Design, ideally CATIA v5 and AutoDesk / AutoCAD.
