Ideally you will hit the ground running and have transferable skills from a similar role. Your main responsibilities will be to reduce current tenant arrears levels within assigned patches.
You will provide an efficient rent collection service using various contact methods via telephone, letter, email, text and face to face. You will also build good relationships with our Local Authority partners and Universal Credit to ensure that your areas benefit income is maximised and to assist with homelessness prevention.
The successful candidate must have:
- Educated to A level or equivalent standard or equivalent experience
- Experience of working in social housing sector
- Knowledge of welfare reform, housing benefit and DWP (Universal Credit)
- Assertive and confident communication and negotiation skills
- Experience of preparing court cases and attending possession hearings.
- The facilities to work from home (initially due to Covid-19)
