
Regional Hard Facilities Manager – North Region - Fresh Property Group

About the Job
Here at Fresh Property Group, we are looking for a Regional Hard Facilities Manager to join us on a permanent, full time basis covering our North Region predominantly of buildings located in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Maintenance, you will support the regions site based teams with all the hard facilities management based activities.
This role will be home based, but will require regular travel, preferably utilising trains although use of own car where necessary will be reimbursed. Travel requirement will vary during the year with occasional overnight stays as required. It also includes minimal out of hours emergency calls.
About You
This role would suit an individual who has proven M&E engineering qualifications along with 3 years senior management experience in a multi-site hard FM biased environment. Highly motivated and enthusiastic, you’ll be able to manage a busy workload and remotely support, diagnose and advise on M&E issues to non-technical staff such as electrical, heating, water and life safety systems, as well as general day to day maintenance and fabric issues.
A strong team player who has excellent time management and prioritisation skills, you will have good knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and compliance within the built environment along with experience of managing third party contractors on reactive and planned maintenance works.
A sound understanding of fire alarms systems and legislation appropriate to Scotland is highly desirable.
A Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH (or similar) would be advantageous, as would experience of mobilising new buildings and providing building training.
