About the role:
Working within out Facilities team, this role works on the busy front desk at Abcam as part of a reception team of tow, responsible or the efficient running of the front desk whilst assisting with Facilities administration
Roles & responsibilities:
Answering the phone, taking messages, managing post & parcels, greeting visitors
Ordering, managing and storing stationary
Managing deliveries including food
Creating purchase orders and logging invoices
Data entry into the facilities maintenance plan and ensuring it is updated
Providing administration support to the Health & Safety document management system
Helping with Facilities tasks and other ad hoc duties as required
You should have experience working ‘Front of House’ in a busy office environment. You will have strong communication skills and a good knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel & Outlook. You should have a flexible approach with the ability to turn your hand to different tasks. You must be organised and diligent with strong attention to detail.
