POSITION SUMMARY Corero is looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join its team developing the user interface for its world leading DDoS protection solutions. The successful candidate will develop capabilities and features to manage our high performance DDoS protection solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in a small team developing the web interface for Corero's management solutions.
Collaborate closely with other team members, product management and engineering management on requirements.
Work across the entire lifecycle including mockups, workflow design, implementation, integration with backend services, and bug fix.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
3 years experience and a proven track record in similar web software development.
Experience in building single page applications with frameworks (e.g. React, Angular or similar)
Solid experience with HTML5, SASS, CSS.
A solid understanding of design patterns (e.g. MVC, observer)
Experience integrating with server side APIs.
Strong communication, presentation and design documentation skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar.
DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Good knowledge of single application architectures and frameworks (e.g. Flux, Redux)
Experience writing unit tests within a framework (e.g. Jest)
Whole stack experience, with ability to work on the server side (e.g. NodeJS, Apache)
Experience in working in an Agile software development environment.
