An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Inspector to join our office in Crawley.
In this position you will be responsible for supporting a demanding Technical Services Department with final quality checks for repaired medical equipment’s, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and services are provided to our customers.
As a Quality Inspector you will be performing final QC inspections on sophisticated electro-mechanical medical equipment’s within acceptable standards. You will also work within strict policies and procedures maintaining smooth running of the department as well as maintain a safe and healthy working environment by conducting safety tests and plant maintenance when required sending equipment for external calibrations, reviewing and record keeping.
We are looking for a candidate with relevant experiences in the electronic and/or mechanical field and a certificate in Quality Management or equivalent. Previous experiences within the medical device or healthcare industry are advantageous.
You should have the competency in the use of standard test and measuring equipment i.e. multimeters, force gauge tester and Vernier calipers as well as experience working with a Quality Management System such as ISO 9001:2008/ 9001:2015.
The ideal candidate be a good communicator with a strong interest in the healthcare industry as well as with an ability to learn quickly. You should be focused and observant with a quality awareness and an ability to meet targets.

In this role you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a need to meet deadlines and ability to foster a close working relationship with the team members.
