Job Purpose To project manage digital and online projects across Alumni & Events acting as a key liaison point, taking the lead on planning and ensuring delivery and effectiveness. Duties and Responsibilities 1. To project manage the development or evolution of a variety of web platforms targeting Alumni and other (Events) External University Stakeholders. Working with the immediate Alumni & Events team, the wider Marketing and Communications team and the Engagement Group to do this, in particular the digital marketing team. a. To project manage a variety of cross-team projects end to end, working with internal University of Warwick stakeholders such as the academic departments, Centre for Lifelong Learning, Executive Education, and central IT Services including the Academic Technology Support Team to enable the development and delivery of content that drives an excellent user experience for Alumni and broader stakeholder visitors and users of Warwick’s digital presence. 2. To lead on the creation of a Personal and Professional Development web platform for Alumni, alongside the digitisation of Events for a broad range of University of Warwick external stakeholders. Researching and identifying requirements, and using already commissioned insight to curate existing content and create new content pieces and web pages. a. Advising the Associate Director, Alumni & Events, Director of Marketing and Head of Digital Marketing on content strategy and the development of associated web pages. b. And creating content plans, briefing digital content producers and liaising with central IT services to ensure that digital output is relevant, timely and compliant. 3. To undertake any other duties within the scope of the role and its grade as directed by the Associate Director, Alumni & Events or the Director of Marketing. Other information • The post holder should have the flexibility and adaptability to take on new tasks and challenges as and when they arise. • The post holder should be proactive in their approach to work tasks and be able to delegate if necessary.
