About the JobStrong, enthusiastic, professional leader wanted as part of the Primary Care Business Systems team at Care UK, to deliver a large range of change projects concurrently. The changes will be through a team of business analysts, application specialists, test analysts, 3rd party consultants and will also involve working seamlessly with colleagues in support, testing and Group IT functions.
As the Project Manager, you’ll take a leading role with third party suppliers and develop senior and productive relationships with these suppliers in delivering optimal service and value for money. You’ll also act as a domain expert and provide leadership to a team of technical specialists, as well as guidance to a customer team of Operational specialists.
We’re also looking for the Project Manager to be responsible for Bid Management and Mobilisation of new services, as well as being responsible for matrix and financial management.
This job is offered on a permanent full-time basis and is primarily home-based, however you’ll need to travel to our head office in Reading on a frequent basis, as well as travelling to other locations when required. Please also note there is no parking available at our head office.

•Be educated to degree level, or have the equivalent demonstrable experience
•Extensive Project Management experience, particularly in managing a portfolio of projects concurrently
•Experience of working within the healthcare sector (NHS or private)
•Experience of managing IT projects
•Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
•Understanding of technical systems
•Advanced skills using project management tools and Microsoft Office
•Formal training in negotiation
•Financial management qualifications
Salary & BenefitsThis job is a full time position, working 37.5 hours per week. Hours are typically Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm, however we could be flexible dependent on your needs.
