Part Time Project Manager - 25 hours per week - Pro rata salary £18k
Our client is a construction start-up in the UK with a successful track record in India. The Indian Company has made a name for itself in the list of top civil construction service providers in India and has been executing projects satisfactorily with the Military Engineer Services (Under Central Government) for past 21+ years and also with other private organisations.
The company has achieved excellence in providing Civil Engineering services by delivering complete client satisfaction in terms of quality, timeliness and cost competitiveness. The leadership now plans to expand its operations beyond the boundaries of Indian shores and this venture is the first step in that direction.
The company are looking for a Project Manager to manage new building and structural project work and maintenance works like building, plumbing, roof treatment, floor, chemical treatment of old building structure, all civil work, street light, and electric work, etc.
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the following:-
•Tender prospecting to the tender submission process
•Rate analyses of the tender item and submit it to the proper authority
•Leading the planning and implementation of projects.
•Defining a project’s scope and goals.
•Understands basic revenue models and P/L; meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements
•Competent in required project methodology.
•Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
•Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project
•Planning and scheduling project timelines.
•Resource planning and allocation.
•Carrying out risk assessment.
•Managing project administration, including all documentation.
•To plan and arrange the necessary manpower for execution of the projects by the company
•Meeting budgetary objectives
•Reporting regularly to senior management.
•Managing client relationships.
•Tracking project performance.
•Project evaluations and results measurement.
•Proven to work experience in project management
•Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
•Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
•Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
•Bachelor's Degree inappropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
