We have an incredible opportunity for an enthusiastic problem solver to join our team as Product Manager based in Glasgow. This is a great opportunity to join our Castlight business - a new acquisition with big ambition and a great track record.

We are a Glasgow based Affordability Fintech, who are part of Experian Digital Business unit.
Our ethos is based on creating a “safer financial world” for consumers and lenders through affordability, that’s powered by traditional, open and alternate data sources, for shining a light on the consumers financial behaviour, to support decision making processes.
The Affordability product team is responsible for creating new innovative products, that respond to frictionless consumer journeys, changes in consumer behaviour, regulatory and economic change for driving commercial outcomes. Along with enhancing the current product portfolio which includes:
- Account turnover – uses traditional bureau data to assess income and affordability
- Affordability Passport – provides a single view of the consumer and their finances using open banking data and credit search information that can be shared between consumer, brokers and financial providers
- Financial IQ – an intelligent platform, used by credit risk and collections teams for making aiding providers getting to a decision
You will define, launch and manage specific products as part of our affordability portfolio. Working within a team of Product Managers and Analysts, you will work with a variety of stakeholders across the business to ensure that our products successfully meet and deliver market requirements and business objectives.
What is the Product Manager responsible for?
You'll manage the complete product lifecycle and will analyse the market, identifying opportunities, understanding consumer requirements and our competition and will work with internal teams such as pricing and marketing to drive the development and ongoing improvement of new and existing products. You'll build business cases for new product development and will be able to influence and manage stakeholders from a variety of different areas. You'll research the market, buyer personas and will actively manage products from inception, product enhancement, product support and market withdrawal. This is a great opportunity for someone with existing product management experience looking to broaden their career with a growing, market leading organisation, working with innovative and hugely passionate teams to deliver incredible products to our clients.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone with some experience of successfully managing and maintaining profitable products. You'll have an understanding of the practical implementation of product management tools and techniques, and will be an effective influencer with strong stakeholder management ability in order to produce strong business cases and gain buy in across the business. You'll be confident in using your research to qualify business and market requirements and will stay hot on our competitors!
It would be a bonus if you have experience managing complex projects within a similar sector (banking/credit/software), but we're open to candidates from all backgrounds.
