A great opportunity for a Procurement Manager has become available for a client of mine who are an engineering manufacturing company based in Warwickshire.
They are currently seeking a highly capable Procurement Manager to join their team of highly determined professionals. They are looking for a switched on Procurement Manager to come in to broaden the procurement line and also be able to engage with the team and motivate them.
Purchasing Manager Responsibilities:
- •Manage and review Long Term Agreements
•Put into place action plans for cost reduction and improving delivery time
•Review processes and systems and put new ones into place
•Build strong professional relationships with suppliers
•Review and negotiate payments terms
•Review direct and indirect costs across the company
Purchasing Manager Requirements:
- •Previous manufacturing/engineering experience
•Proven management and leadership skills
•Experience implementing new systems and processes (ERP/MRP)
•Experience dealing with suppliers
•Confident and highly motivated
Why Should You Apply?
