I am a fifty-three year old female who has had a spinal cord injury since 2014. My life revolves around my husband of many years and our dogs who have been our constant companions for over a decade. Our home is located in a beautiful village, Croston.
The atmosphere in our home is warm and friendly and my carers, whilst being mindful of their professional responsibilities, are encouraged to feel relaxed in this environment. I have a lively personality and a good sense of humour. My interests include reading, films, cooking and my two dogs
My current team of assistants have been vital in restoring as much independence as possible and I am now looking to extend my current team of five carers who assist me with all elements of day to day living from personal care, communication and activities. The position is ideal for persons with previous experience of delivering high quality one to one care. Previous experience of working with patients with complex medical needs and high level disability would be beneficial but not essential as full training with be provided.
I currently have vacancies for
two x 12 hour night shifts
two x 12 hour day shifts.
