People & Compliance Administrator
Job Type: Permanent
Providing first class HR and compliance administration supporting the People team. Working closely with the People Partners and Head of People to implement new initiatives and best practice, effectively communicate and build relationships within all areas of the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for compliance with previous experience in a fast paced, productive role dealing with pre-employment checks, data management and general HR administration.
Responsibilities of the People & Compliance Administrator:
•Responsible for processing driving licence checks, maintaining an accurate list of authorised drivers, maintenance of web-portal, producing reports and liaising with insurers to ensure 100% compliance.
•Responsible for ensuring we have a record of all employee's verified ID documents on file in line with the Company's right to work policy.
•Carrying out bi-annual spot-checks on employees under immigration control in line with the Company's right to work policy.
•Tracking visa and home office documentation.
•Taking part in auditing suppliers.
•Keeping up to date with legislation and best practice.
•Support the development and implementation of compliance initiatives and systems.
•Contracts of employment (Site and field-based employees)
•Accountable and responsible for the following reports:
•Probation Report / outstanding IDs
•Maintaining HR system / database and electronic employee files
•Providing support and carrying out a range of administration activities.
Requirements of the People & Compliance Administrator:
•Strong understanding of business administration and HR compliance.
•Knowledge of the Construction Industry desirable but not essential.
•Passionate about compliance.
•Excellent attention to detail.
•Excellent administration skills.
•Ability to prioritise and organise workload.
•Proven experience in a similar fast paced productive role.
•Well rounded general qualifications at GCSE & A level.
•Willingness to learn and develop
