We are urgently recruiting for part time family support workers in Norwich and across Norfolk with relevant family support, social work or childcare background to work in the community with families offering support and contact supervision. Hours and days will vary depending on demand .
We are also seeking people willing to undertake intensive Family Support Work day and night shifts up to 12 hours when needed. On occasions you would have the flexibility of engaging in consecutive shift covers (with 12 hr rest periods in between) in intensive family support scenarios
Applicants for both roles MUST hold a licence to drive in the UK and be a car owner as well as have a current enhanced DBS dated within the last two years for the child workforce
Due to the demand driven nature of our work this is a zero hours contract, there are no guaranteed minimum hours each week
We support the local authority in service delivery to children and families in need. This may include supervising contact between children in care and their parents and other complex family support roles. The role is to work in partnership with social workers, foster carers, children and their parents. You must also be confident to work alone following initial training.
These positions would suit a person who is very flexible, very available and experienced in working with children and families.
