Overview of the role This is a 9-12 month fixed term contract within the Sleek Demand Planning Team. Perform analysis of Global Brands Market Demand plans, determine ongoing base demand levels and provide monthly feedback to markets on historical forecast accuracy and review of market sales forecasts in order to develop an integrated & collaborated demand planning process. Establish formal Monthly review process with markets to track changes to market plans and their impact on the consolidated Global Brands demand plan, creation of monthly Market KPI’s in support of this review process. Support the Senior Demand Planning Manager in the development of systems and processes to help create longer term demand plans, capture assumptions for event management and support the S&OP process within Global Brands. Your Responsibilities Generate Base Forecast by product by Market and review the accuracy of this forecast against shipment history. Have regular discussions with the Sales Team to understand their NPD & promotional plans as well as other market intelligence and ensure this is accurately reflected within the Demand Plan. Ensure uplifts are collaboratively agreed and challenge back with evidence where you’re not comfortable with the information being supplied from the Markets. Detailed evaluation of Forecast Accuracy KPI trends to develop opportunities for improvements to the demand plan. Work with Global Brands Supply Planning teams to ensure changes to the Demand Plan are communicated effectively and the impact understood. Share knowledge of forecasted demand on Markets & Brands with the relevant commercial teams to ensure alignment for effective Business Planning. Our Ideal Candidate At least 3 years' experience of Demand planning tools and techniques Strong Commercial awareness Strong problem solving and numeracy skills Used to dealing with large volumes of data and understanding of techniques on how to manage and interpret these Advanced user of MS Excel/Access Well-developed interpersonal skills Good understanding of Demand Planning within the context of S&OP What’s in it for you?
