Stobart Energy have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join their team based in Widnes.
Job Title: Operations Manager (Transport)
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday with some flexibility required

Operations Manager - What is the role?
You will be responsible for the efficient management and compliance of the operation and drivers with strict adherence to Company and legislative standards working closely with planning optimising routes and delivering continuous improvement on route planning efficiency and manage, measure and control accidents and investigations.
Operations Manager - What will I be responsible for?
Maintaining the Freeway database following up on defects in collaboration with our Fleet team. You will complete daily risk assessments of the yard/office and enforce WTD regulations amongst staff addressing any non- conformance. Overseeing the logging and action plan of DVSA stops and identify any CPC non-compliance reporting this to the National Operations Manager.
Exercising robust health and safety cultures, you will manage and champion safe systems of working and vehicle maintenance by administering the vehicle and trailer maintenance programme (MOT's), VOR, weekly cab checks) ensuring records are accurately maintained and manage the repair of the site and depot cleanliness.
Operations Manager - Essential Requirements:
Applicants must have a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) for Transport Managers in Road Haulage and be able to demonstrate experience within a Transport Operation with a sound understanding of vehicle planning and routing, alongside a working knowledge of EU driver hours/WTD legislation.
