And we’re still growing; today we have over 960 stores, in every corner of the UK, with more popping up all the time. We are now looking to expand our new Marketing team, by recruiting an Online Merchandising Manager to accelerate the online growth in cards, gifts, party ware and wrap. The core objective of this role is to plan and implement a digital merchandise plan across all products and maximise conversion into sales. Overview of responsibilities for this role will be: Ensure all new and existing product ranges are uploaded in-line with critical dates for both every day and seasonal products Manage and developing the team Ensure all product photography, assets and content adhere to brand guidelines Management and execution of the digital trading calendar for Cardfactory.co.uk Work with Buying, Supply and Marketing teams to plan and execute the trading activity across the website Define and implement a cross-sell / up-sell programme onsite Review and share trading performance, with teams across the business including sales, stock, speed of sales line, and forecasting for seasonal events Work to further understand our customer needs and competitor activity Key skills required: Commercially driven and sales orientated Analytical, data focused and with good reporting skills Structured, organised and able to manage a large product range Exceptional eye for detail (creative and content) Self-starter, driven and keen to be part of a small and growing team Have a proven track record in online merchandising Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment The ideal candidate will have: Proven skills and success in a merchandising management role Good understanding of digital merchandising principles and consumer buying behavior Good knowledge of web analytics solutions (Google), Excel and PowerPoint An interest in digital / ecommerce technology and digital trends This role may involve out of hours and weekend working to support the business needs and the ideal candidate will hold a full clean driving license as travel between group sites may be required.
