Independent Living Officer (Help@Hand) Locations: York Salary: £19,127.18 (plus £2000 car allowance) We are a charitable housing association that owns and manages more than 18,000 homes – and developing thousands more – across Yorkshire. We are currently seeking a Independent Living Officer (Help@Hand) to be based in York on a Temporary contract until 30 September 2019 for 35 hours per week. Help at Hand is a low level support service designed for customers to access help with daily living such as shopping, light cleaning, and accompaniment to scheduled appointments. The successful candidate will be requested to work across York, therefore access to your own vehicle and flexibility within the role is paramount. Whilst the role is in its formative stages a flexibility to the hours you are available to work would also be beneficial to enable Yorkshire Housing to expand this exciting new business venture. The successful candidate will require a DBS check and a full driving licence valid for the UK with access to a vehicle is essential for this post.
